Types of Home Accommodations:
- If the child is very little you can put note cards with the sign name next to EVERYTHING, for example on the refrigerator, the door handle, the light switch
- An alarm clock which flashes a light, and a bed shaker which is placed under the child’s mattress to wake them up TTY to place personal and emergency phone class
- A video phone which is more technologically advanced than a TTY
- A doorbell which is transmitted through flashing lights placed throughout the house
- Special smoke detectors which are louder and have a flashing light
- TV's with closed captioning and movies with subtitles
