Welcome! My name is Amanda D. Johnson, I am an El Paso native. I am 22 years old and I am currently pursing a Bachelors of Education in Early Education.. My dream is to teach Pre-K or Kindergarten. I grew up with a Hearing Impaired older brother. He is profoundly deaf meaning he can only hear loud vibrations or the sounds that are very loud. It is he who has made me very interested in Deaf Education. Once I graduate I want to get certified and become a Deaf Education Teacher, and pursue my Masters in something that will further the education of Deaf children here in El Paso.
