The Rhetorician

BUSH IS A BLOODY IGNORANT APE

The arrogance of Republican Bill Hammond, president of the Texas Association of Business, proves that right-wing propaganda can easily fool the public. For failing to invest in health and education, his Party is guilty of crimes against the weak and poor of Texas.

One of the qualifications a politician needs in order to deserve the title Republican is having the temperament of a fascist sociopath. “Keep the people poor and on a wartime footing,” as one adviser to his Prince once said. This is how the unruly masses are controlled.

There isn’t one single Republican pol that possesses a sense of community, larger than business taxes, interest rates, and wage controls.

Their sense of high entitlement cuts them off entirely from reality. They are the servants of Big Business and as guilty as the large corporations for environmental degradation, the military-industrial complex, and American support for Third World corruption, terror, desperation, and torture.

Republicans, because they owe their political lives to big corporate money, are totally indifferent to the good of the community, if they are not truly evil. Neither in their legislation or corporate activities is there any trace of human compassion. In their hard-line, right-wing domestic policy they certainly inspire not awe, but terror and revulsion. As servants of Big Oil and Corporate Power, Republicans are a plague to the Common Man. Enron and WorldCom have shown that the GOP is a wild and unmanageable lot, ruled by their insatiable greed. Their scandalous behavior knows no limits. And their leader President Bush is a bloody ignorant ape.

Compared to their calculated hatred for the working poor, the Democrats, who will tax us unto death, are at least magnificent in their extravagance.
