Science: At the elementary level Japan               places second in the world                           preceded by Finland.

              At the Jr. High level Japan also               places second preceded by the               Netherlands.

               At the high school level, Japan places first (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)                followed by Australia, Canada, the U.K. and Finland.

Math: At the elementary level, Japan places first followed by the Netherlands, Hungary and           France.

               At the high school level, Japan places second after Hong Kong.
