All About Garfields World

Welcome to Gloria Garfields world, where I will take you on a small adventure about my  educational interests and my personal phylosophy..I am a senior at utep and my major is education .I will be specializing in science. I have been attending the university for the last 2 and a half years. I also have an associates in Applied Science as a medical Laboratory Tech. I am very interested in the education in the colonias in far east El Paso. I believe that we need change in these schools and a different approach to their educational needs.

I am very interested in teaching kids about animals and their environment. I feel this will make them better aware of their world around them and to appreciate what their world has to offer. Some of my interests are tennis, reading, doing yard work.  My personnel philosophy is " always make children feel good about themselves".

Because of this they can succeed at anything they do. 

So off I go to finish up my semester and hope to finish by the year 2002
