My previous years of college were spent between Southwest Texas State University and El Paso Community College.My first two years of college were spent at SWTSU, where I played for the SWT Woman’s Soccer Team.These wonderful years were spent away from home where I found a new family living in the dorms on campus.Truly, my time there held experiences that I will never forget.

In my final year of my undergraduate degree, I am pleased to say that I maintain a GPA of 3.75.This is a great achievement for me because not only am I a full time student, but I am also a single mother of two beautiful children and I am a substitute teacher for the Ysleta Independent School District.

As I see my years as an undergraduate student come closer to the end, I will take with me and into my career as a teacher all of the wonderful things I have learned here at The University of Texas at El Paso.
