There seems to be some confusion about the course syllabus among several students. This confusion arises when you print out the syllabus and never re-visit the website! Print-outs indicate line returns where no such returns exist on the actual web page, and lead to confusion as to quizzes and what they will cover. If you visit the web site three times per week as you have been instructed to do, the assignments are clear and confusion is eliminated. If you fail to visit the web site, you will fall behind as you will miss announcements such as this one and many others to come. Your peer leader is not your source for information that is contained on this site...don't ask you peer leader, "what's new today?" Find out for yourself! VISIT THE WEB SITE AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK - IF YOU DON'T YOU HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME FOR YOUR CONFUSION BUT YOURSELF!

The Academic Advising Center will begin TASP advising students for Spring 2003 starting October 21, 2002. Students who require advising for TASP purposes are seen at the AAC on a walk-in basis. They should come to the AAC after they have seen the advisor for their major.

Did You Know? For majors that are advised at the AAC, advising started this past Monday, October 14th. The majors we advise are pre-nursing, pre-pt, programa interamericano, general studies, and START. AAC majors are seen on an appointment basis. Students can call 747-5290 to schedule their appointment.

Please encourage all students in the above populations to come in early while the wait is short, so they can get all holds removed before their registration period begins.
