Subsidiaries -- Subsidiaries do not have to file financials unless they sell debt publicly. In those cases, they file their own 10K's, 10Q's, etc. with the SEC. Due to recent SEC rulings, parent companies have to disclose more subsidiary information than they did previously.  But in no way do they have to disclose anything like a full balance sheet and/or income statement for a subsidiary - unless, as I noted above, that subsidiary is selling public debt.
