The CCH Tax Research NetWork database provides searchable, full-text access to numerous federal and state tax publications. Included are the Internal Revenue Code, Federal Tax Regulations, tax court cases, and IRS Letter Rulings. The UTEP Library subscription to this service covers the Federal Tax, State Tax, State Business Income Tax, Tax Tracker News, Sales Tax, Financial & Estate Planning, Tax Practice Areas, International Tax, Perform Plus II Tax Forms, Tax Tools, and Training & Support components.
The Perform Plus II Tax Forms component provides an interactive federal and state tax form section that requires free downloadable proprietary software in order to use. The computers located in the Library Technology Center have the software already installed for your use.
University students, faculty, and staff have access to the database on and off-campus.
1. To access the database, go to the UTEP Library’s home page at http://libraryweb.utep.edu
2. Click on “Databases” located at the top of the screen
3. Click on the link to CCH Tax Research Network from the alphabetical list of databases
Off campus (remote) access to CCH Internet Tax Research Network is available to current UTEP faculty, staff, and students via two methods: 1) the free UTEP Internet Service (dial-up access only), and 2) the Library’s Proxy Server (requires valid library patron record and PIN). For details concerning remote access methods and how to set up your library patron record go to http://libraryweb.utep.edu/electronic/electronic.cfm?page=remote
