indexes the Harvard Business Review which includes fictional
case studies with commentary from expert advisors.
- Business
and Management Practices (Gale) U

- Emerald Fulltext U - Use the
"Advanced Search" and for "document type" select

- INSEAD Knowledge (free
with registration) - provides abstracts and the fulltext to working papers
and case studies on academically-oriented business research topics with an
international business focus. Specific areas covered include: change and
innovation; competing; corporate development; entrepreneurship; finance
& banking; globalization; green thinking; knowledge management; and
marketing.
- Harvard
Business School Cases - This is the most comprehensive source of case studies.
In addition to Harvard's cases, it includes a selection of cases from other
institutions. Includes both U.S. and non-U.S. companies and also cover
international issues and strategy. Documents can be ordered directly from
the site at a charge. Harvard's Baker Library keeps "retired"
cases in their archives.
- Stanford Graduate School of
Business - in addition to cases, the web site includes a searchable
catalog of research paper abstracts.
- The
University of Michigan's Center for International Business Education (CIBE)
- The
University of Virginia, The Darden School of Business
- Thunderbird / Case Series - full text may be viewed but not copied
- European Case Clearing House
- Provides abstracts of case studies. Documents are available at a charge. Check to see if the library subscribes to the
publications in order to access full-text at no cost.

- COLIS: case
searching by Internet
- BNET (registration required to access
some material) - white papers, case studies, Webcasts, and
audio conferences on a wide range of business topics: communications,
finance, HR, leadership, marketing, risk management sales, strategy, and
more. Consider white papers when you want to study a vendor's product, see
how it may be making a case for a business problem, or to get some data on
an industry you are researching.
How to Analyse Case Studies:

under the subject headings "Case Method" or "Business--case
studies". You can also do a keyword search by typing "case
studies" and combine with and additional search term.
