TOP AND CELL PHONE USE IN THIS CLASSROOM
It is extremely unfortunate to have to adopt this policy, but due to past abuses such as web surfing, instant messaging, chat room chatting, DVD viewing, music playing, game playing, etc., use of laptops during class is no longer permitted. Also, the necessity of classroom interaction in this course negates the usefulness of laptops as a note-taking device. The use of your laptop during class can also prove distracting to your classmates, so please refrain from using your laptop during class.

IF ANY STUDENT IS OBSERVED USING A CELL PHONE DURING CLASS, THAT STUDENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE CLASSROOM AND WILL BE COUNTED ABSENT FOR THAT DAY..... IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SIGNED IN, YOUR NAME WILL BE ERASED FROM THE SIGN-IN SHEET.....NO EXCEPTIONS! DO YOUR SOCIAL NETWORKING ELSEWHERE.
