Cra-Z-Art

Packaging Rebranding

Cra-Z-Art, formerly known as Rose Art, has been making stationary products since the late 1970s, however, it was in desperate need of rebranding since their last packaging was done in 2007.

Unfortunately, Cra-Z-Art has the reputation of being “the ones that aren’t Crayola” ever since I could remember. It seems as though Cra-Z-Art is trying to imitate Crayola, however, I wanted to stray away from that and make it stand on its own.

With their slogan being “Always creative!” I incorporated playful illustrations inspired by the imaginations of children and how Cra-Z it can get. With this inspiration in mind, I rebranded the packaging for their crayons, markers and colored pencils.
