Since no make-ups are allowed for missed take-home or in-class quizzes for any reason, extra credit is offered in this course primarily to compensate for missed quizzes. if you submit all quizzes during the semester, then the extra credit is "icing on the cake!" In either case, the extra credit will be applied to your overall point count at the end of the semester.
If additional extra credit opportunities arise, they will be posted to this page in a timely manner. ___________________ IMPORTANT: Although there may be more than 4 extra credit offerings in order to accommodate students' schedules, you may only take advantage of 4 of these offerings for a total of 40 points. Although highly enjoyable, attending more than 4 will not accumulate additional extra credit beyond 40 points. |
