Field Based Education

Graduate and Undergraduate levels

  • Science methods coursed for early childhood, middle grades and secondary students, as well as bilingual education students  

  • Secondary students curriculum development for all levels K-12

  • successfully implemented a professional development initiative with Coronado High School in which the curriculum class is taught onsite at the school.

  • Educational technology including enhancing the technology-based classroom and the development of Web sites

  • Current issues in science education for graduate students which utilized a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach to curriculum development and delivery.
