We're a family of seven and birthdays are always celebrated. In first grade, I had an awesome birthday party at McDonald's! Trinity Nursery School provided us with a soap cake just for show...and they'd trace our bodies on long sheets of paper. Anthony and Louis had parties in the recreation room. There are four birthdays in April: Chrissy is the April Fool, Anthony's a week later on April 8th, Louis is a week after that on April 15th and Dad is 2 days after that on the 17th. Mom's is September 10th (Chrissy made her cake this year), Anne's is December 8th and Peter's is February 9th. Mom ALWAYS makes the birthday cakes, and everyone has their favorite. Peter loves feathery fudge cake, Chrissy likes carrot cake, Anthony gets a pineapple upside-down cake, and Dad likes strawberry shortcake. Here are the recipes for those four birthday favorites:
