This poster was a submission to the BICeBe biennial under Unpublished Poster dealing with the era of disinformation and fake news.I started thinking about this poster with the phrase “lengua larga” which is Spanish for long tongue but really means a liar or someone who gossips. From this idea I came up with the phrase “lenguas largas unden la verdad” which means long tongues sink the truth. So I decided to turn the tongue into a sort of sea creature that was sinking a newspaper boat, in a way personifying the phrase.
