Right off the bat my initial thoughts going into this project was the cosmos aspect of the name. First thing that came to mind was astrology, being really specific it would be the tarot card illustrations. The Ace of Wands was my main subject of reference when I was doing the logo for Tacosmos. The idea of a celestial hand coming from the cosmos to deliver a perfect taco was hilarious and quirky much like the name of the client, so I felt it was fitting and continued with the packaging the same way. All of my illustrations where woodcuts that I printed and scanned to color in digitally this I thought was necessary to match the style or era of these Tarot Card Illustrations.
